Dr. Ruediger Leschhorn - Vice Chair

Ruediger Leschhorn earned his masters degree in 1980 from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and his PhD in 1987 from the University of the Armed Forces in Munich, Germany. He has been involved in radio communications since more than 25 years and is currently Head of Studies in the Radio Communications Division of Rohde & Schwarz, Germany.

He joined the Forum in 1997 and has been involved with SDR for more than 10 years in terms of technology, markets and requirements questions.

He has been heavily involved in the predefinition of the first SDRs of Rohde & Schwarz from 1996 on and is currently the chair of the SCA Test & Evaluation Group and former chair of the Research & Development Working Group.
